Tuesday, September 5th

​

10am-6pm Check-In day for: Educational & Home Economic Exhibits (except Baked Goods)

Fruits-Vegetable-Field Crops-Flowers and Plants 

8am-6pm Swine/Goats/Beef & Dairy Cattle/Sheep Check-In **Have your paperwork ready to get in the gate!**

4pm-7pm Rabbit Check In-Poultry Check In & Testing

 

Wednesday, September 6th

​

8am-9am Check-In day for: Baked Goods-Aquaculture-Flowers-Plants-Vegetable-Field Crops

9am Poultry & Rabbit Judging to be followed by Poultry & Rabbit Showmanship

9:30am Judging of Horticulture and Home Economics

(These buildings will be closed during this time until judging complete)

10am-3pm Weigh in of Hogs

Poultry Games-watch the website for updates for times closer to fair time!

6pm Swine Show

6pm Peewee Swine Showmanship

 

Thursday, Sept 7th “Senior Citizen’s Day” THESE ACTIVITIES SUBJECT TO CHANGE!

9am DONUTS AND COFFEE! During Senior Citizen’s Day Registration

10am Introduction of Judges & Senior Pie Contest & Tasting

12:15pm Lunch Time! 1 pm Pioneer Contest        1:30pm Entertainment for Senior Citizens

10am-2pm Sheep and Goat Weigh In

5pm Goat Show and Peewee Goat Showmanship - All other showmanship at conclusion of show

7pm Lamb Show and Peewee Lamb Showmanship -All other showmanship at conclusion of show

Friday, Sept 8th “School Bus Day/Youth Day”

​

9am-1pm Free Admission for School Bus Riders/Faculty.

HOT DOG LUNCH FOR ALL KIDS PROVIDED BY CENTENNTIAL BANK OF HEBER SPRINGS!

Magic Shows throughout the morning in Commercial Building

10am Starts Cattle Weigh In/Ends at 3pm

5pm Beef Cattle Show with Dairy Cattle Show to follow/Peewee Showmanship

All other Showmanship to follow show

6pm Gospel Music-Stay tuned for website for more information

7pm Bonny Steeves Memorial 4-H Poultry Chain In Goat/Sheep Barn (Call AMY HECK 501-362-2524)

8pm McCarson Rodeo and Carnival for the Kids

 

Saturday, September 9th “Veteran's and Emergency Response Appreciation Day"

10am Junior Livestock Auction

1pm Draw for All Around Showmanship

2pm All Around Showmanship Begins

2pm Goat and Owner Costume Contest(Check with Amy Heck and Ag teachers for updates)

5pm Youth Awards Program and Results of Beautiful Bunny/ Handsome Rooster

6pm Flag Retirement Ceremony conducted by Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts of America

7pm Talent Show in Pavilion. (Call Pam Son for details 501-278-7651)

Home Ec Building Closes Reopens at 7:30pm to 9pm for exhibit checkout

8 pm McCarson Rodeo! Carnival for the Kids
